ARRT regulations state that an individual may not repeat a lecture presentation for credit if it was reported in the same biennium. However it is the responsibility of the REGISTRANT to assure the ASRT credits are acceptable for his or her purposes. Many of our courses are approved for CEU credit by the ASRT, which have been accepted by ARDMS and ICAEL, ICAVL. We have a wide variety of courses to accommodate your education needs, from core ultrasound courses to high level peer-to-peer courses. In this class the instructor will take you step by step through the basic system controls so the attendee will have a better understanding of the tools available to you for analysis and quantification. To perform image analysis and quantification, you load an image that has been acquired on a supported Philips ultrasound system into a specific Qapp you have selected. The QLAB software provides an environment in which you select a quantification tool to manipulate images. This socially engaging, purposefully-designed training allows participants the same quality education of an instructor-led classroom without the need or expense of traveling. Philips virtual training events typically range from 60-120 minutes in length with a maximum of 10 participants. Virtual training is synchronous, meaning that participants are connected at the same time as the facilitator. Each learner uses their own computer or other compatible device. Participants can be geographically dispersed and also individually connected. would people agree with this?Īnother thing I'm investigating at the moment is the departments video mixer!! again in my opinion what can be done with the vision mixer here (a data video SE 800) can be simply done within Qlab.Virtual training is a facilitator-led, live online learning event that is delivered in a virtual environment. the options available in Qlab are far greater than those in SCS. the sound output options don't seem to be too dissimilar between Qlab and SCS, however, from using SCS a little and watching it being used here I can't see how SCS could even begin to compare to Qlab in terms of its ability to output video. Here is a video of how to use the basic features in QLab. Play back audio, video, and MIDI from a single workspace. Special k for sierra utility 1 0 download free. Create media designs for theatre, dance, composition, installation, and more. The majority of shows here involve sound and more extensively video playback. QLab provides live show control for your Mac. I'm a big fan of and have used QLab for the last 5 years of my freelance career and believe it to be a much better piece of software for running shows. the department use SCS for show playback. Im working at a university and wanted to get some opinions on what people thought about something I'm working on.

The brand’s travel bags introduced in 1925 were a global success. In 1922, the first leather handbags entered the product line. In the 1920s, accessories and clothing were introduced into the portfolio. In 1918, Hermès introduced the first leather golf jacket with zipper, made for the then Prince of Wales. In 1900, the company started selling the “Haut à Courroies” bag, which was meant for riders to carry their saddles in it. Between 18, it started selling saddlery and introduced its product in retail stores. Gradually, the company’s product offerings expanded through generations. In the early 20th century, Thierry’s son Charles-Émile Hermès moved the company’s shop to 24 Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris, where it remains to this very day and is the company’s global headquarters. Originally, his intent was to serve the needs of European noblemen by providing saddles, bridles and other leather riding gear. Thierry Hermès founded the company in 1837 as a harness workshop in Paris. The leather goods and saddlery category is the biggest contributor to the company’s revenues (50%), followed by ready-to-wear and accessories (23%), and silk and textiles (9%). Currently, the range of products under the Hermès brand name includes leather goods, lifestyle accessories, furniture, fragrances, watches, jewelry, ready-to-wear and saddlery. Hermès is not a conglomerate in the real sense of the word and does not own a portfolio of brands like its key competitors, which include LVMH, Richemont and Kering. With a brand valuation of USD 18.0 billion, it trails behind Louis Vuitton, ranked 17th with a valuation of USD 31.7 billion. A combination of rich heritage, exquisite craftsmanship, eye for detail and high levels of quality and professionalism through the entire manufacturing process gives Hermès a position of superiority in the very competitive and ruthless world of luxury.Īccording to global brand valuation firm Interbrand, Hermès came in 28th amongst the Best Global Brands 2020. Hermès as a brand enjoys an iconic status in the world of luxury. It has been consistently ranked as the world’s most valuable luxury brand in different valuation and ranking studies published by leading consultancies. Hermès International, sometimes also referred to as Hermès of Paris or Hermes, is a French luxury goods manufacturer. To display these results in a radar image, one needs not only one, but several stations at different locations. How is a weather radar created?Īs you already know, the radar station and its radar beams are used to measure the amount of water vapor present in a cloud. Only the use of new types of radar technologies, such as the Doppler radar, made this possible. …that the first weather radar was already built in the early 1940s? However, this type of weather radar could not accurately predict the intensity of the rain or the strength of the thunderstorm or storm. This central computer is responsible for processing all the collected data and using it to create a picture of the general weather situation. These weather stations are linked to each other and transmit the collected data to a central computer. To be able to make a concrete weather forecast and to collect and analyze the data over a large area, many different weather radar stations are required at various locations. What is a weather radar live?Ī weather radar live is a special type of radar that collects and analyzes data on the weather situation. You can also zoom in with your fingers or the mouse wheel. Use the + or – at the top right to zoom in. By finger pressure or mouse click you can move the area on the map. With the cursor at the bottom left in the center you can view the weather over time. The weather radar live itself displays cloud cover, current precipitation, storms, thunderstorms or tornados in real-time. This is how the weather radar live works: The pacing of Orion is, as much as it hurts me to say this about an Inazuma Eleven installment, horrible. And it all can be concluded by one word: pacing. But the Inazuma Eleven fan inside of me knows that I was disappointed throughout the entire run of it. On a very basic level, I could enjoy it when new techniques were shown. And that, to me, is sadder than if they had not been brought on to the team to begin with.Įnjoyment (1/10) - Let's just get this out of the way early: at some point, I ended up watching Orion not because I enjoyed it or because I wanted to know what would happen next, but to find out how they would try and salvage what was left to salvage. And that would have been okay if those new additions got the respect they deserved, but the moment that they had their place in the spotlight they were sidelined almost immediately after. Sure we also lost some characters along the way, but we ended with a surplus of characters. The worst part of all this is that they were doing okay for the first half of Orion, because once it got to the world tournament they ended up ADDING characters to the main team. What is the issue is that there is no way for us to bond with any of them as there is no feasible way for Orion to properly showcase any character growth whatsoever (except if you are one of the main characters). The characters themselves are perfectly fine, that's not the issue. Orion's Inazuma Japan starts out with nineteen members right from the first episode, which is a bigger problem than most people might realize. The Inazuma Japan from Galaxy had thirteen members at most. The Inazuma Japan from the original Inazuma Eleven had sixteen members at any given time. I could write this whole review just about the characters in Orion, but. I will also admit that I am a pretty big fan of the third ED of Orion and more than its OP, which is something I can't say I am since Maji Bomber all the way back in the original Inazuma Eleven's third season.Ĭharacter (2/10) - Oh boy. Sound (6/10) - The soundtracks of Inazuma Eleven has always been pretty good, and even though I feel like it has gone down with Ares and Orion, they're still pretty decent. I am not that big of a fan of these if that was not obvious. I know that there are goal celebrations in the other installments of Inazuma Eleven, but these somehow feel. Orion also does this thing where they have goal celebrations from the characters of the main team, especially in the first half of Orion. The animation of all the new techniques introduced in Orion (and there are a lot of them!) has certainly improved, but none barring one (maybe two) of these were techniques that left me with a spark and in awe. In short, the story tried to focus on one specific plot point but it ended up becoming a rushed mess that, honestly, was quite all over the place.Īrt (4/10) - With a new franchise come new techniques and new animation techniques to, well. Orion also suffers from the same pacing problem that Ares had, but then cranked up to an eleven (more on that in the Enjoyment part of this review). Sure there are only so few plot ideas they could have gone for with what is effectively Inazuma Eleven's eighth arc, but it really feels very weak. By trying too hard to reference everything, Orion ends up in this weird space where it cannot stand out from the others. but the execution of everything is horrid, there is no other way to describe it. It would serve as a little bit of an easter egg for the faithful fans who have watched every episode of every season where we could go "Ah, that came from Galaxy, and that one came from the Aliea Academy arc!". Orion takes inspiration from the other Inazuma Eleven seasons, every one of them if you want to analyze every little frame, and this was a nice idea. All right, so those watching Orion will directly notice several things. I also make a handful of references to the other installments of Inazuma Eleven in this review to try and emphasize my point. I waited until I watched every episode of this to know for sure whether or not I would be certain of my decision, and having watched all 49 episodes I can say this with no regret: I am really disappointed with what Orion has become. It hurts, as a big Inazuma Eleven fan who watched the franchise ever since the first season of Inazuma Eleven was still airing, to give such a low rating for an Inazuma Eleven franchise. For MRI, it is safe to give a regular dose of contrast material as long as the patient’s eGFR is > 30. This hydration is effective to prevent any renal damage. In that situation, we will inject additional fluid into the patient’s vein before and after the contrast material injection. eGFR > 30, but less than 45 indicates that while it is safe to get contrast material, there is a small risk of causing kidney damage. For CT, eGFR > 45 indicates no increased risk of kidney damage from contrast material. At UCSF we use this very accurate blood test to assess kidney function and it can be obtained quickly, right before a scan. eGFR takes into account the serum creatinine value and also patient age, race and gender which affect kidney function results. A better and more accurate measure is a lab result called estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR). Historically serum creatinine was the lab value used to assess kidney function. What lab values indicate a need for concern when contrast material is injected? The questionnaire has been proven to be a simple and reliable way to identify those people at risk of having renal problems and avoiding the need to get blood tests on all patients. Every patient will be asked a series of questions that help us determine which patients do not need laboratory testing to measure their kidney function. At UCSF we use a questionnaire to identify patients who need lab testing before scanning to ensure that it’s safe to inject the contrast material. We know that the likelihood of impaired renal function is substantially higher in some people, such as patients over 60 years old and those who have certain illnesses, such as diabetes. We know that most patients have normal kidney function and need no precautions, however, not every patient with impaired kidney function will be aware of it. Who needs to have their kidney function checked before being injected with contrast material for a scan? If contrast material will be helpful then we follow a process to make sure that it is safe to inject it. In many cases a scan without contrast material is adequate for diagnosis. First, we evaluate the scan request for every patient to see if contrast material is needed at all. In this blog I will discuss the approach to these issues at UCSF. Patients with poor kidney function are the people at risk for these side effects. CT contrast materials do rarely cause kidney damage and a skin disorder called nephrogenic systemic fibrosis (NSF) can be caused by the MRI contrast agents. Contrast agents for both CT and MRI are an extremely safe group of drugs and adverse side effects rarely develop. Contrast agents help radiologists see some details on scans that are not visible otherwise. For many of these scans, contrast material is injected intravenously to complete the scan. The following article was written by Ronald Zagoria, MD, FACR, Professor and Chief of Abdominal Imaging in the UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging.Īs a radiologist at UCSF, I commonly work with patients getting CT and MRI scans. I approach this goal by analyzing the puzzles of a point-and-click adventure game Day of the Tentacle, using a close reading method. The research goal of this study is to find out ways in which adventure game puzzles are pleasurable for the player to solve. Starting with the presumption that puzzles are at the core of adventure games, studying them can provide insight on adventure games as a whole. The purpose of this thesis is to study the puzzles of adventure games. This problem emerged from the initial success of adventure games, which led to a multiplicity of adventure games of varying quality. One reason behind people losing interest in adventure games is agreed as the abundance of designer puzzles, where the connection between the puzzles of adventure games and their solutions is left unclear to the player. Before the end of the 20th century, however, adventure games lost their position in the market, becoming a niche genre of digital games. Originally text-only in representation, and using the parser to guide the player character, adventure games soon adapted graphics and a point-and-click user interface, features that made them more accessible and greatly successful in the 1990s. Adventure games emerged as a new form of digital games in the late 1970s, via the release of the first adventure game, Adventure. I picked up a body to move it, and couldn’t put it down because I was now a part of the floor. It’s built in CRYENGINE, so there are some physics issues. However, that wasn’t my only problem with the game. Yes, clearly I had a major issue with the non-functional drone. I didn’t notice it most of them, and occasionally when it said that I’d left the tower radius I still couldn’t use the drone because of jammers! There isn’t even any indication that you can’t use it before activation, apart from a notification that pops up for two seconds when you enter or leave a field of effect. I managed to tag about 15 enemies with the drone across seven hours of play, yet according to the in-game stats I tagged over 600 with my binoculars. I honestly don’t know what CI Games was thinking - either let us use the drone, or don’t include a drone. The other maps have drone jamming towers literally all over the place, which incapacitate your drone and are indestructible (the previous game let you disable them). In the long-range maps it doesn’t have the distance - because your target is a kilometre away. It’s not that it doesn’t work, or that you won’t need it, you just can’t use it for 90% of the game. Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 gives you access to a drone, but it’s literally pointless to equip it. Set it up somewhere, mark some enemies and make it shoot - which will draw the enemy towards it, instead of you. You also have access to frag grenades, EMP grenades, C4, throwing knives, and mines. However, any attachments such as barrels and scopes that you equip won’t be on the ones you snatch off of the ground. Feel free to pick up enemy weapons if they’re better than yours, of course. You have a variety of weapons at your disposal (once you buy them), and will carry a sniper rifle, a medium weapon (shotgun/bow/rifle) and a handgun into the field. Have you ever tried shooting a speeding car from nearly a mile away? If you miss, the target has time to react and go for cover, or jump in a car and escape. Even traveling at the speed of a bullet, it’s a good few seconds from pulling the trigger to it actually hitting the target. There was an element of this in the original, but most of your targets in Contracts 2 are going to be over 1000m away. That means you have to make your way to a sniper spot (avoiding or killing patrolling soldiers), and scout out your targets. Most, though not all, of the maps are long-range maps. However, whereas the original Contracts plopped you into an area and set you off to do things however you pleased, Contracts 2 improves on that by making you an actual sniper. There are five areas with 21 different contracts, all with the aim of freeing Kuamar - for the betterment of your employer, of course. In the shoes of Raven, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 sees you heading to the Middle Eastern country of Kuamar to topple a dictatorship. But everyone else was busy, so I eagerly jumped in to play this first-person sniper game from CI Games. I figured that it would be better to get a more neutral voice taking a look, someone who hadn’t spoken to the developer twice. Originally, I wasn’t going to review this game, because I reviewed the original and previewed this one.
